Macrocyclic Gadolinium-Based Contrast Agent
10, 15 & 20 mL
VIVIDSCAN (Gadoterate meglumine) is a macrocyclic gadolinium-based contrast agent used intravenously in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to enhance the visibility of the brain, spine, and other tissues. By increasing the contrast of tissues through its paramagnetic properties, it helps detect abnormalities such as tumors or disruptions in the blood-brain barrier.
Known for its high stability and safety profile, Gadoterate is excreted entirely via the kidneys and is suitable for patients across all ages, including pediatrics.
*Not recommended for angiography in children under 18 years.
*Use for whole body not recommended in children less than 6 months.
